Just Awake

I've been trying to get a few more headworld characters down on paper and this is the latest one I've been messing with.

This character's design is heavily cross-inspired by the character Killua of Hunter x Hunter (because he's my favourite!) and although he will not be the same as the original character, in order to pay homage to that influence, he is wearing his clothes (at least in this piece) and is named Kiyua.

As a bit of character background, Kiyua is the nextdoor neighbor and childhood bestfriend of Kava. Growing up the two were nearly inseparable and spent most days after school hiking through the woods exploring, building tree houses, and creek fishing. Niether Kava nor Kiyua liked just spending their summers sitting indoors, so the two found every opportunity to be outdoors possible, and eventually they joined scouts together (which may be a future drawing! :3 ).

And I drew him all cutesy hugging a pillow because I can XD (and he was Kava's first crush hehe)
