Home Is Wherever I'm With You...

So here we have Simon again!

I've been messing with this piece on and off for more than a month...all the while listening to ‘Home’ by Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros ( [link] )...which was most certainly the song inspiration behind this one. I wanted to draw something that was happier and cute, so hopefully I caught that well enough here.

I primarily made this to be used as my own background, but in case anyone else wants to see the full-resolution, I uploaded that version, which isn't what I usually do.

I'm very happy with how this has turned out, looking back at some of my previous pieces, I personally feel this represents a nice progression. Especially since the last picture I drew of Simon. I had lots of fun with the sky and fabric in this one, so hopefully it didn’t turn out half bad. I certainly learned new things with shading/lighting techniques.

So there we have it, another picture of Simon! The way too happy tiger who needs to put more clothes on! hehe
